Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children with autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavioral interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral issues and needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and intake assessments, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in the field of behavioral health.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Strong background in special education or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and techniques used in applied behavior analysis.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, patient assessment processes, and medical documentation practices.
