The Location:

The Organization:

Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District is home to 18,000+ residents. Formed initially as Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 2 in 1977, BCMUD provides water and wastewater services, recreational activities, beautiful gardens, parks, and miles of trails through the Brushy Creek community. BCMUD operates four swimming pools, four tennis courts, and a disc golf course throughout the community.

At the heart of our District is the Brushy Creek Community Center. Our Community Center features two gyms, two racketball courts, weight room, rock wall, and recreational programming, including various fun activities, educational and fitness classes.

Brushy Creek employs approximately 190 seasonal, part-time, and full-time team members.

After School Counselor:

As an After School Counselor, you'll partner with co-counselors to lead a group of awesome kids in fun, enriching activities. From creative crafts to active games, your goal is to create a safe, engaging, and uplifting space where every child feels seen and supported.

What You'll Be Doing:

Builds positive relationships and greets each child with a warm, friendly attitude.
Leads group activities, assists with daily programming, and encourages participation.
Is a positive role model who brings patience, enthusiasm, and care every day.
Communicates professionally with parents and guardians.
Maintains a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
Stays active throughout your shift-you'll be on your feet and moving.

Professionalism when working with both kids and parents.

Requirements:

Must hold (or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire) a valid American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification – Brushy Creek MUD provides that training at no cost to employees.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
