Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing support to clients and their families.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of clients.
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to improve client outcomes.
- Monitor client progress through regular data collection and analysis, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure holistic care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with people with disabilities.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and patient assessment techniques.
- Understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and intake processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
