The Agency's mission is to be boldly innovative in improving the health and quality of life for South Carolinians.This is position is located in the Third-Party Liability (TPL) Services, Richland County.Are you the One? We are looking for a Program Manager I (TPL Managed Care Manager) who, under limited supervision, monitors each Managed Care Plan for Third Party Liability contract compliance and Federal and State regulations.Oversees and ensures compliance with Section 10 of the Managed Care Contract. Provide strategic direction and problem resolution to ensure alignment with Agency goals. Monitor and analyze the managed care plans’ TPL Monthly Reports to ensure contract compliance. Performs data analysis and works interactively with the Bureau of Managed Care. Assists in the establishment of the departmental strategies and objectives to improve TPL with all the plans.Establishes and maintains joint collaboration and information sharing efforts with the agency's MCO's and the Office of Third-Party Liability. Serves as the main point of contact for TPL communications with all SCDHS Managed Care. Works with the Managed Care Plans to implement program changes, respond to member, provider and attorney concerns and develop corrective action plans as needed.Lead and facilitate the Managed Care TPL Recovery process for Health and Casualty, including subrogation, and recovery of liable third-party resources.Performs fundamental supervisory and leadership functions in accordance with Department policies and procedures, best practices and Federal and State rules and regulations, especially with regard to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) standards. Maintains an effective organizational team and motivates diverse staff to accomplish mission critical operations and objectives.
