Position Summary
We are searching for motivated and licensed therapists to build their own part-time or full-time counseling practice in downtown Winchester, VA. Our practice model empowers you to provide in-person counseling in our welcoming office, offer virtual sessions through our HIPAA-compliant EHR system, or create a hybrid approach. As an independent contractor, you’ll set your fees, choose your work schedule, and determine which insurance panels to join. You will deliver direct clinical care to your preferred client populations using person-centered, ethical, evidence-based interventions. We support our therapists by providing office space, marketing, client referrals, administrative help, and opportunities for group collaboration.
We seek candidates who are independent yet collaborative, value evidence-based and ethical care, are innovative and enthusiastic, and wish to grow within a supportive clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver outpatient mental health services to a diverse caseload
· Complete clinical documentation promptly
· Uphold ethical and legal standards of care
· Engage in biweekly peer consultation and team meetings
· Coordinate care with external providers as needed
Requirements
· Active, unrestricted clinical license in Virginia (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD)
· Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
· At least 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience (preferred)
· Strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
· Comfortable working independently in a private practice setting
· Commitment to maintaining a positive work environment among clinicians and colleagues
· Experience with telehealth platforms and EHR systems (preferred)

Compensation
The role is contract-based, with full-time earning potential ranging from $60,000 to over $100,000, depending on your caseload and the number of active clients.
