Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Counselor role is based in an elementary school setting in New London, NH. Serving approximately 121 students, this in-person position offers an opportunity to provide direct support and guidance to young learners. The contract runs through the school year, beginning August 26.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling services to elementary students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student well-being
• Develop and implement social-emotional learning programs and interventions
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns with appropriate strategies
• Promote a positive school climate and student engagement

Qualifications:

• Licensed or certified as a school counselor or related counseling credential
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to establish rapport and supportive relationships with students
• Knowledge of counseling techniques and child development principles
