Full-time Therapist / Social Worker / Counselor
Therapists at Turning Point provide group and individual counseling to adults with trauma, mental health, and/or substance abuse issues. Therapists must be aware of social factors affecting the psychological well-being of individuals, services/programs for psychological/sociological improvement of individuals, and in conducting evaluative interviews.
Current opportunities could include the Women's Partial Hospitalization Program, Women's Intensive Outpatient Program, and Men's Partial Hospitalization Program.

- Competence in understanding and treating primary mental health diagnosis, substance dependence, and the treatment of dual diagnosis
- Experience with trauma focused treatment, preferred
- Experience working with patients with military backgrounds, preferred
- Three (3) years in clinical services desired; two (2) years working with dually/multiple diagnosed, preferred
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or similar program required
- Licensure in the State of Georgia in good standing: LMSW, LAMFT, LAPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC preferred; Recent graduates from Masters programs must obtain licensure through the Georgia Composite Board within a year of graduation
