Preferred QualificationsPreferred qualifications include experience in admissions, enrollment, or other student-centered university functions; strong communication, problem solving, and customer service skills; strong public presentation skills, involvement/work with student organizations, management of volunteer-based organizations; and experience with higher education technology (CRM and/or student information).
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesExcellent written and oral communication skills are necessary. Knowledge of secondary and technical/community colleges, along with understanding of college attendance trends and desire to continue professional development. Working knowledge of modern constituent relationship management software packages. Working knowledge of various Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), ability to work with a diverse group of individuals, and ability to balance priorities necessary. Position requires travel as well as some night and weekend work.Job DutiesJob DutyRepresent USC Aiken to prospective students, their families, and school officials including some travel. Responsible for coordination and expansion of transfer recruitment and enrollment. Counsel applicants on admission requirements. Review applications for admission.
