Therapist (Independent, Associate, or Intern) – Join a Collective That Cares for You Too
New Moon Counseling Collective is more than just a workplace—we’re a progressive, anti-racist, and supportive community where therapists can thrive. We believe you deserve the same care and balance that you help create for clients. That’s why we’ve built a model that blends the freedom and autonomy of private practice with the support, connection, and benefits of being part of a collective.
Our clinicians provide innovative and compassionate care to a diverse range of clients across Oregon. If you’re looking for a team that truly values your wellbeing, professional growth, and unique expertise, New Moon may be the place where you belong.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience delivering effective, whole-person, client-centered care
- Strong commitment to equity, inclusion, anti-racist practice, and social justice
- Bonus points if you bring specialized training or focus areas (Brainspotting, EMDR, IFS, EFT, play therapy, child/family work, couples therapy, etc.)
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:
- Competitive pay, without the burnout: $75/hr to start.
- 20 clients/week = $78,000/yr
- 30 clients/week = $117,000/yr
- Stability & benefits you won’t find in private practice:
- W2 employment (steady pay every 2 weeks)
- 401(k)
- Paid time off (2 weeks PTO, plus no restrictions on unpaid leave)
- Health/dental/vision insurance stipend (for full-time staff)
- Profit sharing
- Group supervision and CEU/training opportunities
- Admin support for billing + new client coordination (so you can focus on therapy, not paperwork)
- True work-life balance: You design your caseload, schedule, and setting (remote, in-person, or hybrid). We support your flexibility.
- Team culture: Connection and support from like-minded, passionate therapists who believe in reshaping how therapy—and therapist employment—work in today’s world.
Job Types: Full-time or Part-time
