Job Description: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) -

ABA SHINE is seeking a passionate and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team, specializing in early intervention services for RCEB and Alameda Aliance clients. In this unique role, you will work directly with young learners and their families with a team of RBTs, BTs, or mid-level staff implementing the three-tiered model to deliver both evidence-based caregiver coaching and direct ABA services. This hands-on approach allows you to provide consistent, high-quality interventions while empowering parents with the tools and strategies needed to support their child's growth and success during their most critical developmental years.

Position: Part-time and full-time available. In Person Behavior Analyst, Direct Services

Responsibilities:

Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and challenges of children with behavioral issues and develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide One-to-One Parent Coaching: Work closely with parents and caregivers to equip them with the necessary skills and strategies to support their child's behavior and development effectively. Provide guidance on implementing behavior management techniques and evidence-based interventions within the home environment and the Community.

Model and implement individualized ABA interventions based on the child's treatment plan, focusing on skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and generalization across settings, materials, and individuals.

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and educators, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to intervention. Share insights, progress, and recommendations to develop integrated treatment plans.

Develop Behavior Support Plans: Design comprehensive behavior support plans based on functional behavior assessments. Identify and prioritize target behaviors, outline intervention strategies, and monitor progress through data collection and analysis.

Train and Supervise Caregiver: Provide training and ongoing supervision to the caregiver(s) who will be implementing ABA interventions. Ensure fidelity of intervention techniques and provide regular feedback and support to the team.

Monitor Progress and Adjust Interventions: Continuously assess progress through data collection and analysis. Modify treatment plans as necessary based on the child's evolving needs, making data-driven decisions to maximize outcomes.

Maintain Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes, progress reports, and behavior plans. Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Compensation:

Your hourly rate for this position will be $ 70-75 per hour or a 100K-105K Yearly Salary.

As a full-time employee, you will be paid on a bi-weekly basis, and your hours will be tracked and submitted to our payroll department.

You will be responsible to track, schedule and convert your appointment on our software ReThink, to help us compensate you accordingly.

Please note that this position is not eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, or retirement savings plans.

Requirements:

Board Certification: Must hold a current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA, providing one-to-one parent coaching and direct ABA services to children with developmental delays or behavioral challenges.

Strong Knowledge of ABA Principles: Thorough understanding of applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management techniques, functional behavior assessments, and positive behavior support strategies.

Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Empathy and Patience: Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with special needs and their families in a compassionate and supportive manner. Patience, understanding, and empathy are crucial in this role.

Data Analysis and Decision-Making: Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to guide treatment planning and interventions. Ability to make evidence-based decisions for the best outcomes.

Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.

Ethics and Professionalism: Adherence to professional and ethical standards outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and local regulatory bodies.
