Claibourne Counseling is looking to hire a Clinical Therapist to join our growing team in Scottsdale, Arizona as an Independent Contractor who LOVES to work with couples!

We are accepting clinicians who are either LMSW, LAMFT or LAC. An ideal candidate will already have *direct* counseling experience with individuals, families, and, of course, COUPLES through internships, jobs, etc. If you are an LAMFT, LAC, or LMSW, it's OK if your supervision hours haven't been met yet, but it's important that you have a decent amount of experience doing individualized work with patients.

We’ll provide a fully furnished office space w/waiting room in Scottsdale near McCormick Ranch. We’ll generate new clients for you and give you a profile on our website along with other marketing/branding opportunities.

We currently have a high demand for counselors who work with couples and adult individuals, so we are seeking to hire a therapist who is specialized in working with these demographics.

Starting pay for LAMFT/LMSW/LAC is $65/$105 accordingly. At 20 clients per week, you can earn up to $80,000 a year, even while working just 3 days a week! We are currently offering a position for Thurs/Fri/Sat – with an extra $10 bonus per session on Saturdays. As a contractor, you’ll set and manage your own schedule for those days while maintaining a minimum caseload of 16 sessions per week.

With a more manageable schedule and flexibility to be creative, our model allows you that balance.

We are seeking applicants that are interested in seeing 16-26 clients per week. As a contractor, you’ll be in charge of your own schedule and handle your appointments and case management. We ask you to be creative and authentic, show up for your clients, and take care of yourself.

It is preferred that you have EMDR, EFT, and/or Gottman Method experience and want to utilize those modalities – or a desire to learn and specialize in these methods. Claibourne Counseling believes in going beyond the symptoms to get to the core, so having experience and a desire to work with trauma-based methods is in alignment with our philosophies.

Claibourne Counseling offers both in-office and telehealth sessions. We are taking measures to ensure a safe and clean environment, especially during this time. We are there to support and collaborate with each other to help ensure the clients are progressing and finding their joy again. If there are road-blocks (which often happen), we want you to feel confident that you can come to us so we can find solutions together.

Qualities/Expectations

• Ability to provide counseling services including assessment, treatment planning, counseling, psycho-education, and case management.
• Possess a Creative & Authentic Approach - Explore, learn, and feel empowered to use different modalities (EMDR, DBT, CBT, EFT, etc.). Practice outside the box; not a one size fits all program.
• Ability/Desire to Maintain a Weekly Minimum Caseload of 16 Sessions Consistently
• Be Responsive w/Client Communications – Scheduling Help Is Available if Needed
• Have Notes Done in Timely Fashion – Be on Top of Documentation
• Treats individuals as individuals –– Listen & Be Human w/Clients
• Honest & Ethical – Loyal & True with a Strong Moral Compass
• Respect Privacy & HIPAA Compliance
• Coordinate Care as Needed

Requirements

• Counselors must be licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health to provide counseling with one of the following degrees: LMSW, LAMFT, LAC.
• Must have or obtain current malpractice insurance in Arizona
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency using MS Office and Telehealth
• Currently residing in the Phoenix area
• Reliable Internet connection
• Ability to work independently
