Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Clinical Social Worker (CSW under supervision) to join our private practice team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing mental health therapy and a passion for supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. This role involves delivering evidence-based therapeutic services, conducting assessments, and creating treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs. The clinician will also collaborate with the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS), schools, and other professionals as needed to ensure clients receive well-rounded care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions addressing a variety of mental health concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and behavioral challenges.
- Conduct intake assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans.
- Utilize interventions such as CBT, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches.
- Offer crisis support and safety planning when needed.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA, Medicaid, and insurance standards (progress notes, treatment plans, assessments).
- Collaborate with caseworkers, healthcare providers, and other professionals to support client goals.
- Provide child, adolescent, and family therapy services, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
- Participate in supervision (for CSWs) and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Utah LCSW license (or CSW license working toward LCSW).
- Clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, families, or children.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation (preferred but not required; training provided).
- Knowledge of Medicaid/CPT coding and insurance billing practices (preferred but not required; training provided).
- Ability to work with diverse populations, including children in foster care, individuals with trauma histories, and families navigating conflict.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building therapeutic relationships and collaborating with community partners.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage caseloads and maintain compliance with state and insurance requirements.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
