Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Patient Care Coordinator located in Hauppauge, NY. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating patient care, scheduling appointments, managing phone communications with appropriate etiquette, and assisting with patient care activities. The role also involves ensuring effective communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers, as well as maintaining accurate patient records.
Qualifications
- Prior DME experience is a plus.
- Skills in Appointment Scheduling and Phone Etiquette
- Experience in Care Coordination and knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Patient Care experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare software
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree in a relevant field is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
