We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team as an independent contractor.

What We Will Offer You at Inner Peace Therapy:

• In-office or virtual case consultation groups as needed- no mandatory meetings.
• Competitive percentage split (we believe in full transparency - percentage split is 70/30 for fully licensed therapists and 60/40 for limited licensed therapists with options for fully covered supervision (the higher percentage goes to you!).
• Collaborative, supportive office environment - work with a team but practice your own way.
• Fully-furnished office space with one location in East Lansing on East Lansing Drive (by Costco).
• Will assist in client referrals and help you build a caseload.
• Full administrative services (billing, credentialing, fax, etc.). We use electronic billing through Simple Practice EHR. We take care of all billing duties so you can focus on what you do best!
• Looking for a candidate that is okay with a hybrid (telehealth and in-person therapy) schedule. We currently have office space for 1-2 days in-person.

Our Ideal Candidate & Requirements:

• Licensed Clinician – LMSW or LLMSW in the state of Michigan - preference given to fully-licensed clinicians.
• Experience - Minimum 2 years post degree outpatient behavioral counseling.
• Integrity, caring, hard-working, and passionate about the clients you serve. We place a large emphasis on creating an office space for professionals who foster a warm, collaborative, and supportive environment.
• Ability to provide three professional references upon request or as part of the application process.
• Expertise in evidenced-based modalities and a desire for continued training (EMDR, DBT, CBT, etc.).
• Do you have a therapy niche? Share your specialized area of focus or expertise that you choose to concentrate on within your practice.We are in high need of individuals that do trauma therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, child and adolescent therapy, substance abuse or co-occurring therapy, LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy, and Chronic Illness and Pain Management.
• For hybrid position- Telehealth - Need a quiet, secure home or private office with reliable high-speed internet, a laptop, tablet or desktop computer with a good camera and microphone, proficiency with hardware, software and knowledge to help clients to understand, problem solve to successfully connect with you online.
