???? Join New Hope Counseling Center as Counseling Supervisor
New Hope Counseling Center in Quarryville, PA, is seeking a Counseling Supervisor to provide leadership, oversight, and direct service as part of our mission to bring hope and restoration through professional counseling shaped by compassion, integrity, and faith.
This role is ideal for a licensed, experienced counselor who is gifted in mentoring others, shaping a program, and engaging with the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Leadership
- Ensure adherence to agency policies, updating forms and standards as needed.
- Partner with the Executive Director on strategic planning, policy decisions, and program development (e.g., support groups, seminars).
- Write quarterly counseling blog posts and contribute to the center’s voice in the community.
- Monitor and advise on high-risk cases or legal situations.
Supervision
- Provide supervision and case consultation to counselors and interns.
- Lead weekly Counselor Meetings for case review, professional development, and team learning.
- Review documentation, caseload balance, and licensure supervision requirements.
- Mentor counselors nearing licensure and assist with recruiting, hiring, and orienting staff.
Direct Counseling
- Maintain a small caseload of up to 10 client sessions weekly.
Continuing Education & Community Outreach
- Stay current in best practices, ethics, and supervision through ongoing training.
- Build relationships with local professionals, churches, and agencies to strengthen referral networks.
- Represent New Hope in community meetings and host at least one annual outreach event.
Qualifications
- A Christ-centered faith that informs both personal life and professional practice, expressed with humility, care, and a willingness to walk alongside people from diverse backgrounds.
- Must be licensed in Pennsylvania as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist.
- Must meet Pennsylvania state requirements to provide supervision to professional counselors (generally requires 5 years of post-licensure experience).
- Demonstrated experience in supervision and mentoring.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to integrating professional excellence with faith-shaped values.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $58,000 – $68,000, commensurate with experience
- Stipend toward the cost of health insurance
