Position Overview

The Expressive Arts Therapist will facilitate virtual art, music, or movement-based therapy sessions to support neurodivergent individuals in emotional expression and sensory regulation. This role emphasizes creativity, accessibility, and collaboration to foster empowerment and self-discovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one and group expressive arts sessions (virtual), adapting modalities like drawing, music, or dance to neurodivergent needs.
• Develop workshops and pre-recorded content on creative expression for emotional and sensory support.
• Create social media content (e.g., art tutorials, music clips) to showcase neurodiversity-affirming practices.
• Collaborate with coaches and advocates to integrate arts into support plans.
• Design downloadable resources, such as art prompts or movement guides.

Qualifications

• Required:
• Training or certification in expressive arts therapy, art therapy, music therapy, or dance/movement therapy.
• 1+ years’ experience working with neurodivergent individuals or diverse populations.
• Understanding of sensory and cognitive needs in creative settings.
• Proficiency in virtual platforms.
• Preferred:
• Experience adapting arts for autism, ADHD, or sensory processing differences.
• Skills in digital content creation (e.g., video tutorials).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $125.00 per hour
