Position Overview
The Expressive Arts Therapist will facilitate virtual art, music, or movement-based therapy sessions to support neurodivergent individuals in emotional expression and sensory regulation. This role emphasizes creativity, accessibility, and collaboration to foster empowerment and self-discovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one and group expressive arts sessions (virtual), adapting modalities like drawing, music, or dance to neurodivergent needs.
- Develop workshops and pre-recorded content on creative expression for emotional and sensory support.
- Create social media content (e.g., art tutorials, music clips) to showcase neurodiversity-affirming practices.
- Collaborate with coaches and advocates to integrate arts into support plans.
- Design downloadable resources, such as art prompts or movement guides.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Training or certification in expressive arts therapy, art therapy, music therapy, or dance/movement therapy.
- 1+ years’ experience working with neurodivergent individuals or diverse populations.
- Understanding of sensory and cognitive needs in creative settings.
- Proficiency in virtual platforms.
- Preferred:
- Experience adapting arts for autism, ADHD, or sensory processing differences.
- Skills in digital content creation (e.g., video tutorials).

Pay: $45.00 - $125.00 per hour
