Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.

Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.
Responsibilities
- Teach a minimum of one undergraduate level course
- Prepare course materials such as syllabi homework assignments and handouts
- Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data
- Support students’ learning goals by:
- Focusing on student learning outcomes-Taking into account the needs and abilities of the students-Becoming familiar with academic and social support-Making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences-Maintaining the academic integrity of the college-Making himself/herself available to assist student in achieving their learning goals
- Doctoral degree preferred (or an equivalent of highest attainable degree)
- Previous collegiate teaching experience
