School-based LMFT (Mental Health Counselor) with PPS

Start Date: ASAP –December 31, 2025 (with possible extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approx. 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $44-$49/hour DOE
Location: 100% on-site in Beaumont, CA
Job Type: Full-time, W-2

About the Role:

Inclusive Learning Partners (ILP) is hiring a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed mental health professional who is passionate about school-based counseling, supervision, and creating an inclusive educational environment where all students can thrive.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current LMFT license in California
  • Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
  • Experience providing mental health counseling in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Demonstrated experience working with students with a variety of disabilities
  • Prior experience supervising interns or clinical staff (preferred but not required)
  • Must be willing to undergo a criminal background clearance and Livescan fingerprinting through the California Department of Justice and FBI
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Willingness to complete ILP and state-mandated trainings during onboarding

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and small-group counseling to students with disabilities as needed
  • Support students in developing coping, social-emotional, and behavioral regulation skills
  • Collaborate with school staff, teachers, administrators, and families to ensure aligned interventions and strategies
  • Contribute to IEP/504 processes as appropriate, offering input on mental health supports
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Provide consultation and guidance to staff on best practices for student mental health and wellness
