A professional opportunity is available for a licensed Social Worker specializing in school settings to support middle school students in Niagara Falls, NY, with additional responsibilities in Lackawanna, NY. This contract position runs from September to December 2025 and offers a structured weekday schedule from 7:20 AM to 2:34 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload focused on middle school students, providing support and intervention tailored to their social and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized plans that enhance student well-being and academic success.
  • Engage with families and community resources to strengthen the support network for students.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current New York State Licensed Social Worker (SSW) credential.
  • Valid school certification through the Office of Teaching (OT) in New York State.
  • Experience working within a middle school environment preferred.
  • Strong skills in caseload management and student advocacy.
  • Ability to work onsite effectively and partner with educational teams.

Location and Schedule:

  • Work onsite during regular school hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:20 AM to 2:34 PM.
  • The position encompasses schools in Niagara Falls and Lackawanna, NY.
