Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Social Worker is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting in Byron Center, MI. This contract position begins next week and runs through the end of the school year on June 4th. The role involves managing a special education caseload with direct service, consultation, and monitoring responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to a special education caseload of 13 direct students
• Offer consultation to 3 additional students
• Monitor progress and needs for 3 students as part of a consultative role
• Support both special education and 31N program services within this split-funded position
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and outside agencies to promote student well-being and academic success
• Maintain confidential records and comply with relevant policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Licensed Social Worker with experience in K-12 educational settings
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads including direct services, consultation, and monitoring
• Familiarity with special education processes and 31N services
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to support student social and emotional needs in a school environment

• Full-time hours, Monday through Friday during the school day
