Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Psychologist to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree, be licensed in the state of Michigan, and share our commitment to delivering evidence-based care with the highest ethical standards. This role includes clinical practice, psychological assessment, and supervision of Limited License Psychologists (LLPs & TLLPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload of approximately 20 patients, providing individual, family, or group therapy tailored to diverse client needs.
- Conduct and supervise comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Supervise and mentor Limited License Psychologists, offering clinical guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality care in line with state requirements for licensing.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in all professional activities, adhering to APA guidelines and Michigan state regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, client-centered care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist with outreach and representing the organization at community events, promoting mental health and the organization.
- Coordinate with other treatment professionals like doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, etc.
- Manage administrative duties in a timely manner including completing notes, treatment plans, etc.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Active and unrestricted license as a psychologist in the state of Michigan.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in psychological assessment, including administration and interpretation of standardized tools.
- Previous supervisory experience with Limited License Psychologists or similar roles strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with clients and colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and fostering a culturally sensitive, inclusive practice.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, or trauma-informed care).
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a mental health setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
