Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks a dedicated Social Worker experienced in K-12 school settings to support the social and emotional well-being of students within a school environment located in Joliet, IL. The role is a contract position for the entire school year (NSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and support services to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized plans addressing student needs
• Conduct assessments and develop interventions to promote student success
• Advocate for students social and emotional needs within the school community
• Facilitate crisis intervention and refer students and families to appropriate community resources
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and confidentiality standards

Qualifications:

• Licensed Social Worker with experience in school settings, preferably K-12
• Strong understanding of child development, social-emotional learning, and behavioral health
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize services to meet student needs
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes
