About Job

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A bilingual Spanish-speaking School Psychologist is needed for a part-time contract position supporting elementary students from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. The role begins on August 12th and requires availability 2-3 days per week to work onsite at a San Jose location.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential
  • Experience supporting students TK-8 in an elementary school setting
  • Ability to perform psychological evaluations, assessments, and interventions
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students

Location:

  • Onsite position based in San Jose, California

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students within the caseload
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and behavioral support services as needed
  • Assist in crisis intervention and implementation of intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all legal and school requirements
  • Promote a supportive environment that addresses the academic, social, and emotional needs of students
