Position Summary:
Community Minds is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Psychiatrist with expertise in managing complex cases, providing psychiatric emergency care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of suicide prevention strategies, co-occurring disorder treatments, and the management of personality disorders. This role will require conducting comprehensive mental status examinations and developing evidence-based treatment plans. Adherence to legal and ethical standards in psychiatry is paramount. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex psychiatric cases in an outpatient setting.
• Provide emergency psychiatric care and intervention.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Develop and implement suicide prevention strategies.
• Conduct assessments and treatments for personality disorders and co-occurring conditions.
• Perform mental status examinations and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
• Create and execute evidence-based treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in psychiatric practice.

Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD/DO) and board certification in psychiatry.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license.
• Proficiency in complex case management and emergency psychiatric care.
• Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Expertise in suicide prevention and personality disorder treatment.
• Ability to assess and treat co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment planning.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in psychiatry.
• Competency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
