Position Summary:
Community Minds is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Psychiatrist with expertise in managing complex cases, providing psychiatric emergency care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of suicide prevention strategies, co-occurring disorder treatments, and the management of personality disorders. This role will require conducting comprehensive mental status examinations and developing evidence-based treatment plans. Adherence to legal and ethical standards in psychiatry is paramount. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex psychiatric cases in an outpatient setting.
- Provide emergency psychiatric care and intervention.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Develop and implement suicide prevention strategies.
- Conduct assessments and treatments for personality disorders and co-occurring conditions.
- Perform mental status examinations and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
- Create and execute evidence-based treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in psychiatric practice.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD/DO) and board certification in psychiatry.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license.
- Proficiency in complex case management and emergency psychiatric care.
- Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Expertise in suicide prevention and personality disorder treatment.
- Ability to assess and treat co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment planning.
- Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in psychiatry.
- Competency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
