Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


This part-time counseling position offers the opportunity to support early childhood students by addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges within an Early Learning Center environment. The role runs from August 27, 2025, through June 11, 2026, with work scheduled three days per week from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This contract position is well-suited for professionals with a passion for early childhood development and mental health support.

Responsibilities include managing an early childhood caseload, collaborating closely with educators and staff to develop and implement appropriate interventions, and providing guidance tailored to young students social and emotional needs. As a key resource in the school community, the counselor will help foster a supportive learning environment to promote student success.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Active Adjustment Counselor Certification in the state of Massachusetts
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and other team members
