A full-time or part-time Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) position is available for the current school year in Austin, TX. This contract role supports K-12 students across multiple schools within a public school district. Assignments require onsite presence, with itinerant travel between schools as needed.

Responsibilities include collaborating closely with educators, families, and school personnel to develop and promote effective learning environments for children and adolescents. Key duties involve conducting psychological assessments, providing interventions and recommendations, and supporting individualized education programs (IEPs). Candidates will work within the districts established caseload or workload framework to manage student needs efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas License or Certification as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
  • Experience working with school-age children in K-12 settings; early childhood experience is a plus
  • Bilingual certification is preferred but not required; monolingual applicants are considered
  • Ability to work onsite full-time or part-time according to assignment needs
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel within the Austin area to multiple school sites
