A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the upcoming school year, supporting an elementary school within a well-established district in Scottsdale, AZ. This contract position involves working closely with students in grades K-12, conducting standard psychological testing, evaluations, and reporting, as well as participating in Student Support Team (SST) meetings.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering and interpreting standardized assessments for K-12 students
- Preparing comprehensive reports that inform educational planning
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff within SST meetings to address student needs
- Providing guidance and recommendations to promote student academic and social-emotional success
Qualifications and Licensure Requirements:
- Valid Arizona Psychologist license
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience conducting psychological evaluations in school settings
- Strong knowledge of K-12 educational frameworks and student support strategies
This role entails a 40-hour workweek with assignment to one school, allowing for focused and consistent support of the student population. The district will offer supervision as needed, fostering a professional and collaborative environment.
