Located in Harvard, IL, this full-time social work position offers the opportunity to support elementary students in PreK through 3rd grade within an onsite school environment. This contract role spans the entire school year, providing consistency and the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners social and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive social work services to students, families, and staff in an elementary school setting.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions addressing behavioral, social, and emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans and support strategies.
  • Assess student needs and provide resources or referrals to community services as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all licensing and school district regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Social Work License (SW License) recognized by the state.
  • Possess a Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement.
  • Experience working with early childhood to elementary-aged students preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively onsite in a school environment.
