A middle school in Roselle, IL is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to support students' social and emotional well-being throughout the current school year on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a positive school environment
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Connect students and families with community resources and services
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case records according to district policies

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Social Worker credential required
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with middle school students
  • Strong counseling and crisis intervention skills
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Knowledge of community resources and social services
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Location: Middle School setting in Roselle, Illinois
Duration: Contract role for the current school year (CSY)
