Roxbury Treatment Center is currently hiring per diem Intake Counselors to work in our admissions department. We offer great scheduling flexibility for our per diem staff to suit your work and family needs.
Job Role/Responsibilities:
The Intake Counselor, under the supervision of the Director of Admissions, interviews and assesses potential patients and inquiry callers. The Intake Counselor works with the Business Office regarding patient financial data, as well as with the UR Department for the certification of patients admitted. Also initiates the referral and admission process by determining appropriate level of care needs in conjunction with the physician/provider. The Intake Counselor is also responsible for initiating and maintaining communication with referral sources.

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or a other related Human Services field required – OR – Registered Nurse,
