Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


This opportunity is for a full-time School Psychologist to support an elementary school caseload in Tiverton, RI. The position is contract-based for the full school year (FSY), with hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The role requires a Rhode Island School Psychologist certification and a proven background in working with elementary-aged students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for elementary students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being and academic success.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise on student development and learning strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Rhode Island School Psychologist certification is required.
  • Experience working with elementary school students is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and educational laws related to special education.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while providing quality psychological services.

  • Elementary school setting in Tiverton, Rhode Island.
