Job Overview:
Serves as CEO, plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the staff, programs and services of the agency to assure that the agency mission is attained, plans fulfilled, and that service needs are met. Through management and leadership, achieves economical, productive performance, forward-looking programming and constructive growth of the agency.
Qualifications & Key Responsibilities:
- Master's degree in business administration/public health or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible management experience in a community-based behavioral health system or program is ideal.
- Ability to understand and promote the agency's mission and purpose.
- Can administratively manage the departments and programs under the purview of this position.
- Ability to be a strong leader and be responsible for all aspects of personnel administration, while monitoring accountability at all levels; shall periodically review the personnel policies and shall be responsible for the development and implementation of procedures to assure compliance with these policies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to demonstrate program/role-related technical competencies.
- Understand how trauma affects an individual and know effective ways to respond to individuals who have experienced it.
- Proven record with experience in creating and managing an organization's budget and financials including analyzing profit-loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Experience in board development and governance. Strong knowledge of development and fundraising.
