Schedule/Hours: 40 Hrs.
This position is responsible for:
Provides Mental Health assessment and counseling services to Triage Corrections clients who are identified with mental health and/or co-occurring mental health issues; coordinates and ensures access to necessary mental health and psychiatric services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides a mental health assessment on program participants who are identified with mental health needs.
- Provides crisis intervention services for program participants who are identified with immediate mental health situations which may require emergency services.
- Provides weekly on-going individual therapy to program participants. The sessions must be 1.5 hrs. long and be documented in the electronic records system.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Work setting is in a social services environment where exposure to communicable diseases is possible. Ability to work a varied work schedule, includes evenings and weekend responsibilities.

- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Licenses and Certifications:
Registered Mental Health Counselor intern with the state of Florida. Or
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Valid State Drivers License
