About Job

We are seeking a School Social Worker to join our school team. As a Social Worker, you will provide counseling and support services to students in the school program; Elementary and Middle School.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessments to determine student needs.

- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices

- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive behavior change

- Offer crisis intervention services to students in immediate distress

- Implement crisis management strategies when necessary

- Advocate for students' rights and ensure they receive appropriate support and services

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student interactions

Qualifications:

- A degree in Social Work from an accredited program

- Licensed Preferred

- Experience in providing behavioral health services, preferably in a school setting

- Strong knowledge of social work principles, theories, and interventions

- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
