What You’ll Do
- Build supportive, trusting relationships with clients through individual therapy.
- Provide thoughtful assessments and create care plans that reflect each client’s unique needs and strengths.
- Use a variety of therapeutic approaches—like CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy—to help clients move toward healing and growth.
- Work alongside a collaborative, dedicated team that values your input and expertise.
- Keep clear, confidential records using easy-to-navigate platforms, such as Therap, and Acentra Health.
What We’re Looking For
- A Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling (accredited by either the Council on Social Work Education OR the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs-CACREP).
- Maine state licensure as an LCSW, LMSW-CC, LCPC, or LCPC-C.
- Certification by the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work or The Board of Counseling Professionals.
- 2+ years of clinical experience are preferred, but we welcome compassionate clinicians who are eager to grow.
- A genuine passion for supporting clients through life’s challenges with empathy, creativity, and evidence-based practices.
