Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate travel Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and those with developmental disabilities, to support their mental and emotional well-being through various therapeutic interventions.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on behavioral health, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, including case management and coordination of services.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Engage in clinical research activities as needed, contributing to data collection and analysis for program improvement.
• Offer home and community-based care to clients requiring additional support outside of traditional settings.
• Support patients with special needs through tailored interventions in areas such as Alzheimer’s care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
• Stay current with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and EMR systems for effective documentation and billing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Min of 2 years of experience within specialty.
• Required - GA LCSW.
• Acute Hospital experience.
• Currently licensed by the Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers (LMSW).
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
• Travel role - Candidates must live over 50 miles from facility (travel compensation provided)!
