Jackson House Portland is seeking a magnificent Group Therapist (LCSW, LPC, QMHP-C) to join our Full-time team! The first of its kind in the area, this is a unique opportunity to provide mental health services in our inpatient, outpatient, and mental health respite facilities to patients who otherwise may not be able to access them. Summary of Responsibilities
Our inpatient, outpatient, and respite mental and behavioral facilities are centered around evidence- based best practice treatments individualized for each patient and their needs. The Therapist will use their professional skills to assess and evaluate the patient to formulate a solution focused personalized plan of care to help individuals identify strengths and internal resources that will help them through their current difficulties. Patience, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate both written and verbally are imperative for this role. Our smaller facilities ensures that the Therapist can quickly connect with our patients, guarantee patient dignity, and make a positive lasting impression.
Qualifications
- Hold a master's or higher degree with an emphasis in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field, required.
- Complies with accepted professional standards in the state of Oregon.
- Two (2) years of experience as a Therapist (LCSW, LPC, QMHP-C) providing group therapy services, highly preferred.
- Obtain and maintain current BLS CPR.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order to get to and from work in various weather conditions to ensure reliability.
