The ideal candidate is experienced in delivering virtual counseling services, has strong clinical judgment, and is committed to supporting clients’ emotional and psychological growth.

This is a remote, independent contractor role with flexible hours, allowing you to maintain control over your schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Compensation Model:

  • Payment is made bi-weekly or monthly, depending on volume and preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family, or group counseling through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
  • Conduct initial intakes and comprehensive psychosocial assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Use evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and others.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation using an electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, case managers, and other providers as needed.
  • Comply with ethical standards and regulatory requirements for licensed clinicians.
  • Maintain a secure, private, and confidential workspace appropriate for telehealth sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active, unrestricted LPC license in the state(s) where services will be provided.
  • Minimum of 1 year post-licensure clinical experience (telehealth experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and trauma-informed practices.
  • Comfortable with EHR and video-based service delivery.
  • Current professional liability/malpractice insurance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Passion for working with diverse and underserved populations.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of care.
  • Bilingual or multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with high-need populations such as those with co-occurring disorders, trauma histories, or chronic mental illness is a plus.

What We Provide:

  • HIPAA-compliant telehealth and documentation platform.
  • Administrative and billing support.
  • Scheduling support (optional).
  • Flexibility to create your own work hours.
  • Supportive, collaborative environment with optional peer case consultation.
