Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children and those on the autism spectrum. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing ongoing support to clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies.
- Provide training and support to caregivers, educators, and other professionals involved in the client's care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records, intake forms, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients with disabilities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health and special education.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis for effective treatment planning.
- Familiarity with special education practices and patient care standards.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments and develop tailored interventions based on individual needs.
- Understanding of medical terminology, documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
