Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide personal support assistance to a visually impaired individual in their daily activities. The ideal candidate should possess empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our client.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.

- Provide companionship and emotional support.

- Assist with mobility

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.

- Accompany the client on outings.

- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe environment.

- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.

- Knowledge of basic caregiving tasks and techniques.

- Empathy and understanding of certain challenges.

- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully.

- Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving is a plus

- Must have a level 2 background screening

- 30 hours guaranteed with the potential for more hours.

- Shift is 3-7pm M-F (1 day out of the week requires an 8 hour shift. Usually a Thursday or Friday) Monthly schedule will be provided.
