Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Counselor to join our inpatient substance use disorder treatment team. In this role, you will provide high-quality clinical services, support clients in their recovery journey, and foster a safe, therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate individual therapy, family counseling sessions, and therapeutic groups.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Provide documentation and support for utilization review as needed.
• Coordinate care with referral sources and outpatient providers.
• Support aftercare planning and monitor client progress toward recovery goals.
• Contribute to clinical curriculum development and participate in staff training.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic environment, including effective crisis intervention when required.

Qualifications

• Licensure: LPC, LCSW, Licensed-Eligible Resident, or CSAC (required).
• Education: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field (preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment, with the ability to support clients in crisis situations.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
