The ServiceREST Norwich Hub is an exciting service at the heart of the community. We provide support to people in need of mental health support and signposting.
The Evening Sanctuary provides 1-1 support for people experiencing mental health crisis as an alternative to attendance within Accident and Emergency. The service accepts referrals from police, ambulance and 111 option 2 health care professionals’ line. The Evening Sanctuary can only be accessed via a referral.
The Evening Sanctuary is a dynamic, psychologically informed environment which operates a strong focus on recovery focused, person centered support. We strive to empower people to stay well in their community and at home to ensure that no one faces their mental health challenges alone.

- The service operates 7 day per week, 365 days per year, there will be a requirement to work bank holidays and over the Christmas period on a rota basis. Employees will receive a double pay rate if working bank holidays, in addition you will receive an unsociable hours uplift 20% of employee single hourly rate when covering shifts between 10PM - 12AM/ midnight).

- Experience of working with a diverse group of people.
- Experience of working within mental health support – specifically out of hours services.
- Experience of working within a recovery focused person-centred way with someone in crisis.
- Experience of safety planning and creating achievable safety plans for people accessing support.
- Experience of liaising with a variety of support services including police and ambulance teams.
