The Neurology Center is a dynamic multi-site adult neurology practice in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with a growing neuropsychology division. Staff neuropsychologist duties include evaluation of patients’ neurocognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning to aid in diagnosis and prescribing treatment. Referrals include a variety of neurologic and neuropsychiatric cases referred from the in-house neurologists as well as from neurologists and other professionals in the community. Candidate should have a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited university training program; an internship or its equivalent in a clinically relevant area of professional psychology; the equivalent of two full-time years of experience and specialized training, at least one of which is at the post-doctoral level, in the study and practice of clinical neuropsychology and related neurosciences, including supervision by a clinical neuropsychologist; and be licensed or license-eligible in Maryland. Board certification in neuropsychology is desirable but not required. Bilingual with experience in cross-cultural neuropsychology is preferred but not required.
