About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Your expertise in diagnostic evaluation and data collection will be essential in tracking progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and behaviors.
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress.
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavioral therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to client behaviors to inform treatment decisions.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as needed.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within educational and community settings.

Job Requirements:

  • NYS LBA and BCBA (Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst) are required.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or special education needs.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
  • Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis relevant to behavioral therapy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and professionals.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A passion for improving the lives of individuals through evidence-based practices in behavior.

Other Job Information:

  • Typical work hours range from 10-25 per week.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and choose your own hours.
  • Must be available after school hours and/or weekends.
  • Most cases will start after 3 pm, Monday - Friday.

Compensation Package:

New York Pay Range: $90/hr - $110/hr (1099)
