Position Summary: An LMSW provides a range of psychological assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or case management services for individuals, children, couples, groups, and/or families, as appropriate to position. Works under the direct guidance of a LCSW within Community Health and Wellness. Will participate in case consultation and present cases at clinical meetings.

- School Based Health Center (If applicable)
- An understanding of the workings of school systems
- Prevention and intervention skills and strategies appropriate for school settings
- The ability to independently (with support) develop a caseload while working within the school system

Confidentiality: Access to and use of confidential client medical records. Confidentiality must be maintained according to Community Health and Wellness Center policies.
Education: LMSW position requires a Master’s degree from an accredited program in Social Work.
Experience: Must have previous experience professionally or from a previous internship with assessing clients, maintaining an EHR, and some individual therapy experience. Group treatment and other therapeutic techniques preferred but not required.
Language Skills: Must speak, write and read English proficiently. Spanish preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification Required: A current license from the Connecticut State Board of Registration and passed a national or state-certified licensing exam. CPR certification
