About Job

Overview
I am seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPC- Associate to work in two locations: An IOP( Intensive Outpatient Setting) that specializes in working with individuals with chronic pain, injury and chronic psychiatric conditions and a thriving private practice in contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Optum( United Helathcare) and soon Aetna. This candidate will be, providing group counseling and individual counseling to the chronic pain IOP population in a treatment center and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy OR setting as well as in private practice with a provided office and office supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions , understanding of various counseling modalities preferred but not required, training is provided.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team weekly from 4pm to 5 pm Monday via Zoom for case consultation
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for two different EHR, one comes with AI software, documentation efficiency supported by both EHR systems.
  • Engage in appropriate care for client during ketamine assisted psychotherapy sessions, training provided and knowledge of treatment a plus.
  • Offer support for patients dealing with PTSD, addiction, grief, chronic pain, and other mental health challenges.
  • Facilitate therapeutic activities such as trauma therapy, neuroplasticity, dialectical, cognitive, or additional behavioral therapy as appropriate, training provided on various approaches
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection to enhance service delivery for IOP participants
  • Maintain a supportive environment conducive to healing and personal growth.

Experience
Candidates should have experience or training in the following areas:

  • Graduate of master program in professional counseling and currently completing 3000 hours toward full licensure
  • Experience with diverse populations preferred and not required
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care protocols, and clinical documentation standards. This position requires a commitment to professional development and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others through effective counseling practices.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $37.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
