Duties and Responsibilities
- Check voicemail from patients.
- Greet and acknowledge patients.
- Explain the visit/test.
- Educate the patient on the changing protocol and assign them a changing room.
- Restock changing rooms and front desk supplies.
- Chart preparation.
- Using multiple computer software simultaneously.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Answer incoming calls.
- Screen patients for upcoming tests.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- Explain the process to obtain test results.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk.
Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- At least one year experience in a medical setting.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience.
