Job Description
We are seeking a fully licensed psychologist in Georgia to provide psychotherapy and psychological evaluations for youth ages 4 to 17. This role includes trauma treatment, therapy for youth with sexual behavior concerns, and evaluations such as psychosexual assessments and forensic interviews. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in working with complex trauma, court-involved cases, and testifying when needed.
The position requires a minimum of four days per week in-office, with the potential to build up to full-time. Future opportunities may include evaluating and treating adults with sexual trauma, with flexibility for telehealth services across PSYPACT-participating states. This is a unique opportunity to shape a specialty role with support from a multidisciplinary team.
Education & Work Experience Requirements
- Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program
- Fully licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia
- Experience working with children and adolescents (ages 4–17)
- Willingness to testify in court as needed
- Specialized training or experience in trauma treatment and/or psychosexual evaluations preferred
- PSYPACT/APIT credentialing preferred for future telehealth opportunities
