We are seeking a master's level therapist to provide evidence-based individual therapy and crisis intervention for the Families at Lotus House. Preferably, the candidate should be a licensed master's level mental health counselor, clinical social worker, or marriage and family therapist (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD). Registered Interns with the state of Florida should apply as well.

Candidates must have experience working with individuals with mental health challenges, histories of complex trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence and medical and developmental needs. Candidates should be experienced in conflict resolution and in de-escalating individuals experiencing crises. Canadidates should be comfortable working with a team to strengthen family. Canadidates should also be able to learn and utalize assessment tools to best support the family.

Must be committed to helping improve the lives of women and children in the Miami-Dade community by working in a high-paced residential environment.

REQUIREMENTS

-Minimum of a master's degree in mental health counseling, clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, or the equivalent, is required

-Licensed or Registered Intern in the State of Florida required

-Work Schedule - Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday with two evening shifts

-Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish or English/Creole) - Preferred
