School Social Worker – Elementary

  • Location: Clarkston, MI

About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is seeking a compassionate and collaborative School Social Worker to support elementary learners in a full-time role for the entire 2025–2026 school year in Clarkston, Michigan. You’ll be part of a small, student-centered school community with a strong commitment to SEL and mental health support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans and interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.
  • Facilitate small group and individual counseling sessions.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and behavior management strategies.
  • Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
  • Support students and families in accessing community resource

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Valid Michigan School Social Worker License (310 Letter) or eligibility required
  • School experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and cultural competence
